Longboat Trip Part 2

We rowed to Vendovi Island where Zoey was getting picked up. Zoey had been feeling sick, and it, was a good idea to take her to the doctor. After she got picked up, we started setting up camp. The caretakers of the island didn't usually allow camping but we were an exception. After a great night, I went to sleep on the boat. Thankfully it didn't rain, and no one got wet!

On the third day, we stayed on Vendovi island. To thank the caretakers, everyone split up around the island and helped pulled weeds or pick up trash. We also had a very competitive race between the boats. I was on (superior) Bear Boat. The race was about a mile long. Both boats rowed very hard and fast. Bear Boat won the race. I steered the boat on the way back to Vendovi. The rest of the day was free time. A couple friends and I painted some scenes with watercolors. Later that night we had a campfire and we looked at bioluminescent animals in the water.
